We will provide a safe space for people to gather each week, on Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., to explore and dialogue about the questions, the answers, and the big ideas we all have. We will be  “CO-CREATING REALITY” with others who wish to practice the ABC’s: Authenticity, Bravery and Compassion. We will co-create a space for dialoguing with each other; a circle whose intention is for compassionate communication, creativity and respect. How do we come to hold certain beliefs? Is there such a thing as TRUTH with a capital “T?” What about knowing the real truth….the whole truth….and nothing but the truth? What do you believe? Are you willing to accept me and my beliefs if they are different from yours? How do we deal with answering, and discussing these BIG QUESTIONS?  What are your BELIEFS?  What would you like to discuss? After taking this class people report that they are able to express their feelings more easily and that enjoy calmer and more easeful interactions with their families and co-workers in new and exciting ways. Compassionate Communication Classes help people to learn to live compassionately with themselves and others.  It is especially important to have self-love and self-acceptance as we go deeply into becoming more conscious and more conscientious.    Tickets: http://events.constantcontact.com/register/event?llr=van5fkqab&oeidk=a07edyo9u2f6827e2f9. 20170408T100000 20170408T163000 +41.870525;-88.340344 Learning For Life Center @ 1709 S Randall Rd, Geneva, IL 60134, USA 0 Compassionate Communication external class,Event,Workshop http://events.constantcontact.com/register/event?llr=van5fkqab&oeidk=a07edyo9u2f6827e2f9 ai1ec-2829@learningforlifecenter.org 20181015T182119Z Class,Free Events LaVetta Westphal-Rolfs; 785-633-9999; info@learningforlifecenter.org The Learning for Life Center is hosting an upcoming Super Bowl of Consciousness Explorations on April 7th. Millions of people on the planet are directly, or indirectly by his research, writings, and pioneering efforts to study consciousness in a variety of ways. The Back Story:  Our Long Standing Joke I hosted a surprise birthday party for Elmer in 2016 when he was 89 years old. I told him that I was looking forward to celebrating his 90th. next year. His emphatic response was “No way… not a 90th.” “Alright,” I said, “I will wait till you are 100.” He agreed with a big smile, “Ok. That will be just fine, but I won’t be there… I will die when I am 99 years and 360 days old!” It appears that kept his promise… with a few days /months difference in the timing. So, I have his permission to have THIS Birthday Party for him and us too, and I’m guessing he will be there in spirit!
