Gratitude for Traveling Teachers and LFL Learners
Gratitude for Traveling Teachers
I am grateful for Shaffia Laue and Ralph Bauer! We are blessed to have them joining us next Saturday, January 21st. to share the teachings of the Aotearoa: New Zealand’s Indigenous Healing Culture, from a close-up and personal perspective!

Gratitude for LFL Learners
I am excited that so many people are interested in becoming LEARNERS at The Learning for Life Center. I hope you will find the time in your schedule to receive these gifts of learning. We have connections with some amazing travelers and teachers, those who go to far away places, learn interesting and insightful things and then return to share their experiences and new learning with folks at The Center! Ralph and Shaffia certainly are in this category, and for a fraction of the cost of their trip, you can learn directly from them! Wow! What a deal.
Indigenous Healers / Wisdom Keepers from New Zealand
This experiential class takes one inside the culture of the Maori native healers to the heart of their spiritual expression. They say, ”We will be teaching songs and chants, looking at images and sharing new spiritual information from our 2-week sojourn with some of the most respected healers on the planet.” Ralph and Shaffia’s recent trip took them to the most authentic and traditional areas of New Zealand’s North Island- where spiritual traditions have resisted the onslaught of modernity, and ancient healing practices have been preserved.
Doors Opened
The trip was sponsored by the leader of the Sufi Healing Order of North America, Devi Tide. Many doors were opened to Ralph and Shaffia and their group that would have remained closed to casual tourists. They will discuss the spiritual meaning of this trip, and their day with Dr. Rangimarie Turuki Rose Pere, a Maori Tohuna (Wisdom Keeper.) This encounter was one of many amazing experiences that they will share with the Learning for Life Center community.
Experience and Learn Maori Healing Rituals
Learners will explore a 9-chakra system that combines traditional Maori wisdom with yogic science, which can be used as a template for self-exploration and integration!
Attendees will experience the sights, sounds, and even a few tastes of the North Island; take part in two healing rituals, and become connected in deep ways with a healing stream that flows across the oceans and through millennia.
