Happy New Year Yoga Today at 5:30 at The Learning For Life Center
Good Morning and Welcome to 2012 – Day # 1,
We, here at The Learning for Life Center, invite you to join with us to welcome the NEW YEAR with meditation and yoga TODAY at 5:30 p.m. Class will be held in our beautiful studio with windows overlooking our garden. Come early and warm up with a cup of herbal tea. Our lovely new teacher, Ratna Radakrishna, will guide us through a wonderful and energizing Yoga Class, which ends at 7:30 p.m, in plenty of time for you to return home to an evening of increased calm and harmony…because you started the year with YOGA!
Answers to some questions you may have:
Q. How long does each class last?
A. All of our yoga classes last 1½ hours. Why? Because we want you and your bodymind to have time to transition and warm up, move into asanas (poses) of invigorating yoga and then to have plenty of time for meditation and relaxation (shavasana) at the end of your yoga experience.
Q. What happens in a Yoga Class at The Learning for Life Center?
A. During the main part of the yoga class, students will be stretching and warming up muscles (the ones you had forgotten you had – “Hello Body”.) As class progresses, you will be guided through a series of movements to encourage those wonderful organs of your body to detox and bring more energy and oxygen to every cell of your body!
Q. What do I need to wear? What do I need to bring to class?
A. Wear comfortable layered clothing, and plan to practice barefoot using a yoga mat. You may borrow a yoga mat from us or bring your own.
Q. What is the cost of Yoga Classes at The Learning for Life Center?
A. Each class costs $10 if you drop in. If you enroll for a 1x per week class and pay ahead for the whole month, cost is $35. However, we are offering a really cool special for this Sunday night class. If you enroll now and pay for the WHOLE YEAR, it will only cost you $300. And, get this: you can get the BEST DEAL by enrolling with 3 other people during the month of January, and each person will only pay $25 per month – All four for only $100 per month!
We look forward to seeing you tonight at 5:30 p.m. or for Morning Yoga at 8 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Stay tuned for Weekday Class Specials too.
Namaste,
LaVetta
