With Daniel, we are co-creating our New Website!

Gratitude for Daniel Lassman, our wonderful web designer!  We know that you, as Friends of The Learning for Life Center will be grateful too, when you see our new website up and running by next week!  My friend, Tom Huff, always said, “People change. Circumstances change. And circumstances change people!” This is the story the truth and wisdom of that quote!

Setting Intention is powerful,

The Learning for Life Center has been needing an updated and functional website for a very long time. We knew that our website didn’t reflect all of the amazing things that are truly going on at The Center, and yet we kept running into roadblocks, (some of which were likely of our own making) that kept us from manifesting the new website. During the Fall we set the intention to take time in January to create a new, cool website.

It's starting to look like a website!

Life is not without challenges.

We had decided to learn how to create and manage it ourselves.  We were prepared to do it all on our own.  Well, long story short, it wasn’t as easy as we had hoped.  In fact, it was REALLY FRUSTRATING!  Verne and I, both worked on it for several days with great focus.  We set up accounts and called Go Daddy’s help line numerous times and tried got that step done.  The road block was in how to use Word Press.

And Daniel shows up to save the day!

We decided that circumstances were now to the point of needing to change.  Help!!!

I remembered that my friends, Ken Lassman and Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg, had mentioned that their son, Daniel helped people with Word Press Websites. I called Caryn.  She called Daniel. Daniel called us. And the very next day, we met with him. We are  progressing well now.   He pointed us in the right directions to allow Verne to really take this on with new vigor and enthusiasm.

Co-creation rocks!

Now, Verne is engaged in learning, and sharing information with Daniel, as Daniel shares information with Verne.  I am happily stepping back and watching this co-creativie process! Because of Daniel’s expertise, experience, his enthusiasm and humility, we are finding that working on the creation of the website is FUN!  Building the website is now VERY EASFUL and, though challenging, it is SO REWARDING too!

New Website Next Week!

We are soon to have our new website up and running.  We will let you know when that happens.  And then, Daniel just might have time to help you too!
